| My Indigo Bunting are back! For years, a flock stopped faithfully every Spring and Fall and then, several years ago, they stopped coming. I was so disappointed! They're the most beautiful little birds---deep turquoise and iridescent in the sun. The other day I walked into my backyard and there they were---back again! I was thrilled. They're still here and I'm trying to talk them into staying awhile longer. But, so far, they're doing a lot more eating than listening. (By the way, these images aren't "my" bunting. I've tried taking photos of them, but my photography doesn't do them justice.) What a wonderful gift they've been this Spring! |
