Christmas in Oz
Many of us who celebrate Christmas in North America or Europe
are generally used to cold weather in December.  Australia is the "Land
Down Under," where the seasons are opposite, so Australians are in the
midst of their summer season when St. Nicholas arrives.  But warm
weather doesn't put a damper on the celebration.  The holiday spirit
is alive and thriving in Australia.  -- Nancy
With one exception, the photos on this
page were all taken in Australia.

Illuminations:
What is Christmas?  It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present,
hope for the future.  It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with
blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.
-- Agnes M. Pharo
