Harvest Season
None can say why some fields blossom,
While others lay brown beneath the harvest sun.
Share the joy of those whose season is at hand,
Take hope that your season will come.
-- Author Unknown
Care for those around you,
Look past your differences.
The dreams of others are no less than yours,
Their choices in life no more easily made.
Give.
Give in any way you can.
Give in every way you can.
Give from your heart.
Care less for your harvest
Than for how it is shared,
And your life will have meaning.
And your heart will have peace.
In the United States, the holiday of Thanksgiving is associated with the Pilgrims' harvest
feast of 1621, but a number of countries around the world celebrate this time of the year.
Each country has its own unique traditons and ways of commemorating the season.
Even in countries where there's no official holiday, the custom of families gathering
to honor the season and give thanks for the bounty of the harvest is observed.
Wherever and however you're celebrating harvest time, I wish you the
happiness and contentment of the season and beyond.  -- Nancy
