Canal Street, 1950's
By today's standards, these Canal Street decorations aren't much to
write home about.  The interesting scenes are in the background.  Many
of the stores pictured in these photos are no longer there - gone to
suburban malls or gone altogether.  But, thanks to these images,
we can still take a holiday stroll on 1950's Canal Street.
