This photo was labeled "Walking Streetcar."  The top lettering reads "Bayou Bridge & City Park," and the bottom, "N.O.C.R.R. Co.," which would be the New Orleans Crescent Rail Road Co.  This was taken between 1900 and 1920 by John Teunnison.  It's an intriguing picture, I've never seen one exactly like it in a vintage New Orleans photo before.

too late for that.  Perhaps it's the first car on a specific line instead.
