The Old Jax Brewery
The old brewhouse stood watch over the Mississippi River long before it became an
upscale mall of shops, stores, cafes, restaurants and kiosks.  Constructed in 1891,
the Jax Brewery was once the largest brewery in the South and the tenth largest
single-plant brewery in the country.
