| This page is dedicated to the memory of my great-grandfather, John S. Cain, whose parents came from the Emerald Isle before he was born, first stopping in S. Carolina, then moving on to Georgia. John Cain moved to Texas when my grandmother was a child. He was an Irishman who loved a good time, who could make a fiddle sing... and who made my grandmother's blue eyes smile with happy memories of her father until the day she died. |
